Elfi von Dassanowsky (natural February 2, 1924) is an Austrian singer, pianist and film producer. She was natural within Vienna as Elfriede Maria Elisabeth Charlotte von Dassanowsky (the Austrian branch of the Polish Numbers Taczanowski).
Recognized internationally for her unique act as a pioneering woman witharound film production & as a multi-talent in postwar Austrian arts & culture, von Dassanowsky is a sole Austrian woman to receive a Women’s International Center’s prestigious Dwelling Legacy Award, and has been honored by having the UNESCO Mozart Medal, the French Ordre des Arts et Lettres, and per cities of Vienna and Los Angeles, where von Dassanowsky has lived since 1962.
At age Fifteen, she became a girl ever admitted to Vienna's Academy of Music and Performing Arts when a protégé of concert piano player, Emil von Sauer.
